In our previous post, we talked about finding and getting new clients, in this session we’d be talking about keeping those clients. It is a known fact that businesses lose client and for various reasons. This post would be giving us insights into ways that we can mitigate that as much as possible
- Be Accessible
It is essential to be accessible. Making it easy for clients to make contact with you would go a long way in client acquisition; inaccessibility would cause you to lose clients faster than you can find them. Ensure that your website and social media are easily navigated for clients and display your contact info prominently anywhere possible.
People love to feel important and regarded and prompt response to inquiries and complaints helps to give them this feeling. As the saying goes; “you snooze, you lose”, you can be certain that you’ll be losing client if you take too long to respond too long to respond to their queries, and remember, a business offering what you do is only a search engine away. So it is also essential to always promptly respond to correspondences.
- Offer Incentives
Everyone loves bargains. This little piece of information if effectively utilized could have you bursting at the seams with new clients. One of the best ways to acquire new customers is to offer free. Offering free or discounted services could result in you getting new clients and also referrals if they’re satisfied. You could give free consultation, free samples, discounts, bonuses, gifts, etc.
It is important to note that your product is only as wonderful as customers find it. You could have the most effective and vital product but if you have no customers, it would serve no purpose, and it would meet no need nor make any profit. You would not get customers just because you exist but you would have to make conscious efforts to be found and to find.
Remember that businesses also lose clients, so you’ll have to make client acquisition a constant process and evolve as your customers evolve.
